Spurred on by this thread on the ABRSM forum, I've got around to making these sheets, following the new requirements for next year's syllabus.
Here's an interesting extract from a documentary, showing how the singing of this song by the computer HAL in 2001: A Space Odyssey was inspired by early speech synthesis, and the 'first singing computer'.
Maxim Rysanov at the Last Night Of The Proms. The first movement, Prelude, is a Grade 7 piece.
The Christmas Dance from the same suite is on the Grade 8 syllabus, but unfortunately he doesn't play it!
